Cassius Hawk

im quite fond of this model specifically for some of the cool effects me and tanya have worked out, in-game Cassius's Glasses reflect whatever he looks at, and also, the blue swirls and lines on his jacket glow like neon
so some pretty unique effects in-game that really make him stand out, unit 6 up next then animations for both

Under the Twin Suns - part IV
Little known to the settlers from Earth, they were not the only intelligent species on Nevada. The Kal'Tra were only revealed to the newcomers when the humans expanded into the badlands region. Initially there were sightings and rumours, but for a long time they were pased off as tall tales. Then in 2177 a prospector exploring the badlands stumbled upon a small tribe.
After a culture shock, the people began to parley. Standing at well over 2m tall the Kal'Tra had avoided the settlers because they lived in a large network of tunnels, or warrens, sources of underground streams or wells. It was discovered they were a hardy amphibious species, using pools as spawning grounds.
Kal'tra exist under a complex caste and honour system. Generally a tribe works like a lions pride headed by a Matriarch. The warriors hunt and the spawners gather for the tribe. A third caste called the seer fulfils the tribes knowledge and storytelling needs.

Under the Twin Suns - part III
As Settlers expanded into the outer regions, many strange creatures were discovered. A whole new ecology had to be adapted to the UNC lifestyle. While the colonists could plant the stored gen-crops, that would require time and the food stores of the Star of Hope would not last that long.
Initial research discovered 2 abundant food sources. The razor tomato, a cactus analogue, with a sweet flavoured bulb and razor sharp leaves, and the Kowhinaga, a large hooved reptile analogue that massed in great heards on the praries of Nevada. Other food sources were found and eventually earth food sources were constituted, but the razor tomato and the 'Kow' became staples of the UNC diet.
Earth Food Sources -
Pork (initally from cloned pig stocks), Oats, Wheat, Maize
Nevadan Food Sources -
Kowhinaga, Razor Tomatos, Jubroots, Loma, Dirkfruit.
Chickens were initally cloned as a food source, but they were so activley hunted by the native Skavver lizard that chicken startups were plagued by the pest lizard. Eventually chicken stocks were no longer able to be replenished.
